Obituary of George L. Fowler, Jr.

George Ledyard Fowler Jr., 74, of Munnsville, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Oneida Health Hospital. He was born on July 11, 1950, in New Hartford, a son of the late George and Helen (Frankl) Fowler.

George enjoyed all the American pastimes to the fullest to include fishing, boating, camping, hunting, golfing, baseball, Harleys, and cold beer accompanied by a cigar. George was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, never missing an opportunity to spend time with his family over a home cooked gourmet meal.  

George graduated from New Hartford NY, where he spent the majority of his life serving the community as a trustworthy and dependable mechanic.  

He is preceded in death by his Wife Debra, Mother Helen, Father George, and Sister Gail (Bartnick). 

He leaves behind his son Curt Fowler (Nikki) and their 2 children Chloe and Dante of Utica NY, son Alan Fowler (Kelly) and their 2 children Charlie and Sawyer of Maplewood NJ, as well as numerous lifelong friends.

Graveside services to celebrate George’s life will be held at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 3620 NY-12, Clinton, NY 13323, on May 21st, 2025 at 1:00pm.
