George E. Dobson, 71, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Loretto Health & Rehabilitation, Syracuse. 

He was born on July 26, 1954, in Danbury, CT, the son of the late George and Emma (Favreau) Dobson. 

George graduated Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, CT, before making the Upstate New York Area his home. 

George worked for many years as a truck driver and auto mechanic, working at AIM Services.  Outside of work, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. 

George is survived by his children, Rachel Dobson of Plantation, FL, and Andrew (Caleigh) Dobson of Rome; grandson, Crayson, and his sister, Viola Dobson. 

He was predeceased by his parents, as well as his sister, Charlotte Middlebrook Willis, and his brother, Charles Middlebrook.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17, at the R.P. Heintz Funeral Home, 10 E. Park Row, Clinton, NY 13323. 

There will no to visitation. 

Interment will follow in Waterville Cemetery, Waterville, NY.
