Rosemary Morin, 80, of Clinton, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, at Wynn Hospital, Utica. She was born in Utica on July 17, 1945, Rosemary was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Biamonte) Leonard.

On November 23, 1975, in New Hartford, she married Peter E. Morin, with whom she shared many years of love and companionship.

Rosemary dedicated her life to education, healthcare, and mentoring future generations of radiologic technologists. She began her education 1963 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Radiography, graduating in 1965. She continued her academic journey at Mohawk Valley Community College, earning a Liberal Arts & Science degree in 1990. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Oswego in 1992, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving the Excellence in Leadership Award. In 1995, she earned her Master's Degree in Health Education from SUNY Cortland.

Her professional career reflected her passion for healthcare and education. Rosemary worked as a Radiologic Technologist with Slocum Dickson Medical Group in Utica from 1965 to 1969, followed by employment with Dr. Deforest Hale in Syracuse from 1969 to 1976, and with Drs. Friedman and Kim in Utica from 1976 to 1980. She then joined Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare School of Radiography, serving as Clinical Coordinator from 1980 to 1991 before being appointed Program Director, a position she held from January 1992 until her retirement in March 2011.

 She was respected by colleagues and students alike for her leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Throughout her career, Rosemary maintained certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and was registered with the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control, both beginning in 1965. She also served as a Site Visitor for the Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology from 1993 to 2000, participated as a Middle States Accreditation Site Visitor in 2004 and 2010 for the Hudson Valley Community College Radiography Program, worked as a consultant for BOCES New Visions and the SABA Program, and served as a liaison with the Regional Excellence Program.

Rosemary enjoyed spending her free time reading and keeping up on current affairs and was known for her lifelong love of learning and staying informed. She also treasured the companionship of her beloved Standard Poodle Yoshi and Wired Haired Terrier Abby.

Rosemary especially cherished the years she spent RVing with her husband. For more than 20 years, they traveled together, creating lasting memories, enjoying new places, and sharing the adventures that brought them great happiness. She also treasured the companionship of her beloved Standard Poodle Yoshi and Wired Haired Terrier Abby.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Peter E. Morin; her son, Christopher P. Morin of Clinton; and her brother, Michael Leonard of Clinton.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Carol Bailey.

In keeping with Rosemary's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Interment will be held the convenience of the family.
