Kern and I were friends since back in the mid 1960’s. My father was one of high school teachers. He and I shared an interest and knowledge of cars and some forms of racing. Kern and I used to exchange car information through mail after I moved from Clinton and I always stopped by to see him when I was back up there. He certainly was a great car enthusiast and I’ll miss him when I am able to get back to Clinton. Dave Seyse
