Carol A. Haylette 1932 – 2021 CLINTON – Carol A. Haylette, 88, a resident of the Presbyterian Home for CNY, New Hartford, formerly of Clinton and of North Haven, CT, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the nursing home. Carol was born December 2, 1932 in North Haven, CT, the daughter of Robert and Lucy (Gadd) Hart. She was raised and educated, graduating high school, in North Haven. There, she had been employed with the West Haven Board of Education, before moving to Clinton and working for Blue Cross – Blue Shield in Utica. Carol belonged to the Stittville United Methodist Church. She had also served as vice-president and treasurer for the former Stevens-Swan Humane Society Ladies Auxiliary. Carol is survived by two daughters, Wendy Suskiewich and Jean Whitney, both of Clinton. She is predeceased by her brother, Thomas Hart. Funeral services, entrusted to R.P. Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 10 East Park Row, Clinton, were held privately at the convenience of the family.
