Obituary of Kathleen M. Dillard-Tooke

Kathleen M. Dillard-Tooke 1948 - 2021 Rome, NY – Kathleen M. Dillard-Tooke, 72, of Rome, formerly of Westmoreland, passed away June 4, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Kathy was born July 30, 1948 in Utica, NY the daughter of Giles and Marguerite (Cotter) Yaddaw. She was raised and educated locally and had been employed with Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Center in New Hartford. In July of 1995, Kathy married Roger Tooke. She is remembered by her siblings as having a very kind heart and in her younger years enjoyed singing with her sister. Kathleen is survived by two daughters, Wendy (& Leroy, Jr.) Raffray, Longview, TX, Bonnie (& Mike) Wilson, Oregon; two sons, Michael Dillard, El Paso, TX, Matthew Dillard, Mexico; eleven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Terry (& Beverly) Yaddaw, Pawling, NY, David (& Debra) Yaddaw, Westmoreland, NY, Craig Yaddaw, Johnstown, NY; a sister, Mary Alexander, Springfield, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter, Marie Whitbeck and by a brother, Ron Yaddaw. Funeral services, entrusted to R.P. Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., were held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment was held in Evergreen Cemetery, Westmoreland.
