Katie,
I know how hard this is, and I'm always here for you. I have so many memories going back to when I can remember. Dominoes, frisbee, his train horn on his car, him and dad always goofing around, him sneaking wine in the spaghetti sauce, the beer pancakes, rubber band wars, and so many more memories. He gave me my first car, and introduced me to Letchworth Park. He was like my second dad. Always visiting any chance he got, every single holiday with you and Meg. I miss his calls too.
I love you cuz.

Dad, it has been 6 months since we have last talked. I miss your checking in phone calls and our shopping dates. I can’t go to Geneseo without getting sad because I will not see you there. I have had so many times that I wanted to call you to ask you something or tell you something that is going on, and then I realize I can’t, so I get sad. This past week when we were in Philly, I couldn’t remember if you worked on that subway, I knew you lived in NJ with Dave and had the good bagels and sandwiches, but I so wanted to call you. Then I got sad. I know you are with mom, and you went straight to her and now you will be buried with her “together forever “. I know I did the best I could taking care of you the last 13 years and you know I loved you. I will missed you stories, our lunch’s, you scaring my children with your past work history, but I am just happy you are not in pain anymore. You were living on borrowed time, and we were lucky to have the extra 20 years we got. Thank you dad for spending the last 13 years near my family and I so we could spend that time with you. We talk about you all the time, you are missed and loved. Hug and kiss mom for us. Love, Kate.
