Nancy R. Crane 1937 - 2021 CLINTON – Nancy R. Crane, 84, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 (she would say on the shortest daylight of the year) at the MVHS Acute Care Unit in New Hartford. Nancy was born November 13, 1937 in Clinton, NY, the daughter of Alfred and Kathryn (Farr) Scoones. She was raised and educated in Clinton graduating from Clinton Central Schools. On September 9, 1961, Nancy married Edward V. Crane, Sr., in St. Mary’s Church, Clinton. She followed Mr. Crane to Heaven for Christmas as he just passed away December 13. She was a proud member of St. Mary’s Church. Nancy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Kurt Bodmer, Clinton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Christine Crane, Clinton, Matthew and Kyle Crane, Clinton, John and Colleen Crane, Clinton; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Kayla (& Billy Maul), Stephanie, Heather, Nicole, Issac and Emily; three great-grandchildren, Kaden, Collin, and Arianna. She is also survived by her sister, Sue. She is predeceased by a granddaughter, Savanna, a brother, Alfred, and two sisters, Mary Ann and Kathryn. Funeral Services, entrusted to R.P. Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 10 East Park Row, Clinton, are being held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment is being held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton.
