Clinton - Lorena Jean (Schram) Zainchowski, age 82, passed away peacefully Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Katherine Luther Home after a long illness.

Lorena was born October 21, 1940, in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (Kates) Schram. Lorena and Walter Zainchowski were blessed to welcome three daughters during their union.

A loving mother, sister and grandmother, Lorena is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Trisha & Michael Goracy Sr, Tina & Stephen Goracy Sr, Traci and Donald Stockbridge; grandchildren, Jenee & Ron Karpowich, Michael (& Nicole Servatius) Goracy Jr, Jason (& Chelsea Rood) Goracy, Brianna Goracy, Alyssa Goracy, Stephen (& Julie Aiello) Goracy Jr, Jesse and Christina Stockbridge, Mason Stockbridge, Adam (& Erin Thomas) Stockbridge; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Joey, & Landon Goracy, Kylee & Tyler Karpowich, Helena, Amina & Skylar Stockbridge, Axel Powell, and Liam Aiello-Goracy; her siblings and their spouses, Charles & Joanne Schram, Robert (& Beth Patrizi) Schram and Roberta Schram; a brother-in-law, Michael Hannon. She also leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorena was predeceased by parents, Harold and Dorothy Schram, and sister, Ruth Hannon.

In keeping with Lorena’s wishes, services for the family, entrusted to R.P. Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 10 East Park Row, Clinton, will be held privately. Those wishing may donate to the American Heart Association in Lorena’s memory.
