1963 – 2023

 

North Utica – Paul T. Internicola, 60, of North Utica, formerly of New Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at his home.

            Paul was born June 8, 1963, the son of Anthony and Carmella (Bambino) Internicola.  He was raised and educated in New Hartford, graduating from New Hartford High School.  Paul was a self-employed painter for many years before becoming a transporter and greeter at Slocum-Dickson Medical Center.  Paul’s wife of 25 years, Barbara Carlson, passed away in 2021.  He enjoyed camping, shooting, golfing, and was an avid NY Giants fan.

            Paul is survived by his brother, Anthony Internicola, Clinton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ann Internicola, New Hartford, Nadine and Joseph Diciolla, New Hartford, nieces and nephews, Vito, Gino, Angela, Nicole, Amanda, and Maria, as well as 6 great-nieces and great-nephews.  Besides his wife, he is predeceased by a sister-in-law, Therese, a nephew, T.J., and a great-niece, Briana.

            Paul’s Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Kirkland Town Park from 12 – 3 pm.  Those wishing may donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Paul’s memory
