Obituary of Elaine C. Consani

Elaine C. Consani, 80, of Oriskany, formerly of Chico, CA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the Eastern Star Home, Oriskany. She was born on October 28, 1943, in Cleveland Heights, OH., a daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Hellen (Kirby) Moore and graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. On March 1, 1985, in Roseville, CA., she was united in marriage to William Consani. He predeceased her on September 8, 2015. 

Elaine worked as an insurance adjustor at UAC Underwriting Adjusting Co. (Continental Insurance) in Seattle, WA. There she met the love of her life, William. She loved traveling and learning about history by going to museums, different historical sites, and cemeteries throughout the country and especially loved spending time in the outdoors. Following her husband’s passing Elaine moved to the area to be closer to her family.

Elaine is survived by her step-children; Betty, Julie, Bill, Jr., Cheryl, Ronald and Dee, a sister, Winifred Moore of Santa Barbara, CA., her nieces and nephews; Ray and Shari Bolton, of Verona, John Bolton (Diane Cahill) of Rome, David Bolton (Robyn Bonilla) of Savannah, GA., Margo and Joel Heintz of Clinton, 14 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren. Elaine is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Elise (and Skip) Sharp, of Oregon, IL., along with a special step-grandson, Alex Putman, of Sacramento, CA.

She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia A. Bolton.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. Interment with her husband will be held in the Northen California Veteran’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
