Honora Clarissa Porter, a devoted mother and grandmother, was born on November 21, 1957, in Utica, a daughter of the late Frank and Henrietta (DiAndrea) Porter. She unexpectedly left this world on August 18, 2024 at her home in Clinton.

She is survived by her good friend and companion, Ronald Mayer, her daughter, Laura Henrietta LaFrenier, and her beloved granddaughter, Clarissa Anne LePage, who she loved with all her heart.

Prior to moving to Steuben, to raise her family, Honora had earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the college of Staten Island with a dream to become a teacher for children with special needs. Although her career was cut short due to struggles with her physical health over the years, she put all of her dedication into being a loving mother and grandmother.

She will be deeply missed, and her memory will be cherished forever.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
