Victor A. Nunziata 1939 – 2018 Westmoreland - Victor A. Nunziata, 79, of Westmoreland, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Presbyterian Home for CNY in New Hartford after long battles with cancer and diabetes. Victor was born February 14, 1939 in Schenectady, NY, the son of Anthony and Mary Nunziata. He had been employed with St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. On July 23, 2006, Victor married Carole Griffith. He was of the Catholic faith. Victor enjoyed watching television in his spare time. Victor is survived by his beloved wife Carole Nunziata, Westmoreland; a daughter, Victoria Rojas, Utica; a son, Elvis Nunziata, Whitesboro; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; two stepchildren and several step-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a daughter, Joann Thompson as well as by a sister. A Memorial Service for Mr. Nunziata will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at the R.P. Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 10 East Park Row, Clinton. In keeping with Victor’s wishes, there are no calling hours. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may donate to the Rome Humane Society in Victor’s memory.
