Michael Parderlikes  1934 - 2019

 

Clinton / New York City – Michael Parderlikes, 84, of Clinton, formerly of Brooklyn, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica.

            Michael was born May 29, 1934 in Manhattan, NYC, NY, the son of Anestis and Anna (Semchyshyn) Parderlikes.  Michael was employed as a longshoreman for the ILA 1814 in Brooklyn.  He had worked for the family diner prior.  On December 17, 1955, Michael married Catherine Nelson in St. Alphonsus Church in Brooklyn.  Mrs. Parderlikes passed away in 2015.  Michael loved vacationing in the Poconos; whether he went with his wife, children, grandchildren, or on his own, it was his favorite place to go.

            Michael is survived by a son, Michael Parderlikes, PA; a sister, Tina Nunziato, Long Island, NY; seven grandchildren, Shalin McKee, Lisa DeKenipp Heintz, Michael Parderlikes, Matthew Parderlikes, Catherine Parderlikes, Thomas DeKenipp, Shauna Parderlikes.  He greatly enjoyed the last years of his life with his great grandchildren, Everett Heintz, Alistair Heintz, Silas Heintz, Harper DeKenipp, and Milo Elias DeKenipp.  He is predeceased by a daughter, Patricia DeKenipp; a brother and three sisters, Peter Parderlikes, Mary Fellows, Helen Culbertson, and Dorothy Parderlikes.

            Funeral Services for Mr. Parderlikes are being held privately at the convenience of the family, with interment taking place in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island.  Arrangements are entrusted to R.P. Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 10 East Park Row, Clinton, NY  13323.
