Jean L. Arntz, 85, of Utica, formerly of New Hartford and Whitesboro, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on December 22, 1939, in Niagara Falls, a daughter of the late William M. and Margaret (Mariam) Arntz. Jean attended Art College in Ontario, Canda following her graduation from high school.  She worked for Everson, Inc., Whitesboro and was a member of the Living Faith Bible Church, Sauquoit. Jean enjoyed exercising and going for long walks. She was a very talented artist and loved animals, especially cats and owls. 

She leaves behind many special friends, including Patricia Fancett and Melinda Monaghan.

She was predeceased by her brother Allen T.  Arntz.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services at the Kirkland Cemetery on French Rd., Clinton, will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Pastor David C. Green, officiating.
