Constance “Connie” Ann Blake 1947 – 2020 Waterville - Constance “Connie” Ann Blake, 72, of Waterville, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Connie was born August 25, 1947 in Utica, NY, the daughter of Theodore “Ted” and Mary Katherine (VanLare) Blake. She was raised and educated in Clinton, graduating from Clinton High School. Connie went on to become an LPN and was employed with Sitrin Health Care Center (formerly Charles T. Sitrin Health Care SNF) in New Hartford where she spent her career. Connie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Rebecca Edwards, Stockwell; three grandchildren, Ashley, Jeremy, and Gwen; and one great-granddaughter, Makenna. Also surviving are her brother, Gary Blake, Ilion; her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Ernie Tourtelot, CA; as well as dear family friend of whom Connie thought of as a son, Jim Northrop, Deansboro. Connie is predeceased by a son, Theodore Edwards. Funeral Services, entrusted to R.P. Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 10 East Park Row, Clinton, are being held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Kirkland.
