Obituary of Charles J. Martyniuk

Charles J. “Chuck” Martyniuk, 66, of Westmoreland Rd., passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 6, 1957 in Little Falls, a son of late Kornel and Beverly (Warn) Martyniuk and received his education in local schools.

Chuck had worked as a welder and later for the Oneida Indian Nation in the grounds and maintenance department.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Martyniuk, a son Christopher Martyniuk, his beloved granddaughter, Aislynn Williams, two sisters; Mary (David) Caracane, Marguerite (David Knight) LaVine, four brothers; Peter (Janie) Martyniuk, Dave Martyniuk, Mike (Becky) Martyniuk,  Matt (Tricia) Martyniuk, a brother-in-law, Paul Gagne, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, including Ted Hrynewycz, who was like a brother to Chuck.

He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Gagne and a cousin, Gary Hyrnewycz.

Services and interment in the Carr Cemetery, Marcy, will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
