In memory of Fred, Hillside Ave, New Hartford, NY, passed away peacefully at the age of 82, April 17, 2018, born July 23, 1936, Syracuse, NY to parents Estelle Szarek and Peter Bednarczuk. 

Fred was an avid outdoorsman, loved camping, fishing, hunting, traveling throughout the US, Europe, Asia, and Tahiti. Had numerous Brittany Spaniels Willie and Rusty.  

Raised in Utica, graduated Holy Trinity Elementary School (1951), UFA (1955), Utica College/Syracuse University (1960) and Pratt Institute, plus a member of the US Navy Reserves. 

Fred's Career over the years he worked for The Observer Dispatch, Utica Club, Partlow Corporation, General Electric Marketing Team Leader, Panasonic Radio, Eagle Pencil Company, Lake Placid Winter Olympics Marketing Manager, Capitol Records (Hollywood), Founded Castle Psychedelic Lighting in Los Angeles, Oneida Silversmiths, Laser Precision Marketing VP, and Axiom Analytical Marketing VP. 

Predeceased by parents Estelle Szarek and Peter Bednarczuk, Brother Richard, Brother-in-Law, Charlie Danyew, Aunts: Mary Szarek, Josephine Helt and husband Walter Helt, Jean Pole and husband Robert Pole, Angie Sturr and Husband Ben. Uncles: Amel Bednarczuk and Daniel Bednarczuk and wife (Toni). Cousins, Roger Sturr and Jack Sturr.

Survived by Brother Jim and wife Rhoda, Sister Rosemary Danyew, Nephews Marcus Bednar (Costa Mesa, Ca), Ryan Danyew and wife Jesi (Louisville, Co), Nieces Lisa Bednar (Oneida), Meghan Catterson and husband Sam (Clinton, NY), plus cousins: Gail Pole, Gary Pole, David Pole, and Joseph Sturr. And Fred's long term companion Cathy Wanamaker Evans and son Chad.

Fred had lifelong friends that had an Annual Reunion BBQ: Joe Spika, Dave Parker, Don Sypek, Eddie Dyman, Hank Okraski, Carm Scalzo, Mike Doyle and Norm Jennings.

Cremation services were provided by R. P. Heintz Funeral Home, Clinton, NY, no funeral services were provided in keeping with Fred's Request.
